Delicious pastry’s, fresh fruit or yoghurt followed by one of our amazing hot entrees. Then, don your cold weather gear and head out for a day of fun in the snow.
Want to try a little snowshoeing?
The 1802 House is located next to The Cape Arundel Golf Course, 89 acres of beautiful snow filled landscapes for you to enjoy. We can provide you with snowshoes and a cozy fire fireplace to return to. Walk alongside the river for the best views and keep a look out for our Bald Eagle as you go.
Go Dog Sledding.
Just up the road in Oxford, Maine is The Ultimate Dog Sledding Experience, they offer a range of sledding experiences from an hour to three days. They also offer an introductory sledding class if you want to take up the harness. Meet the dogs before settling into the sled, then settle down for your excursion through a frozen wonderland.
Take a Turn on the Ice
What is a winter vacation without a little ice skating? The Waterhouse Center in downtown Kennebunk is free to use and open all day until 8pm. Check out the shops nearby then stop and grab lunch at Christian’s Cafe or Boulangerie.
You can also skate at Parsons Field in Kennebunkport. Open from dawn until dusk. This rink offers loaner skates in various sizes.

Chef Kyle and his wife Yazmin operate this wonderful restaurant serving French comfort food and delicious cocktails in a warm and cozy environment.
